My name is Frank Vehlen. I am 40 and have two lovely kids.  My passion has always been sports.  Starting out with soccer from age 8 to 18 – we are in Germany of course - I tried and still enjoy various other sports. During my teenage times I used to ski race and changed to snowboarding during university time, where I competed on the German snowboard tour and won a couple of events. The summers were driven by windsurfing all over Europe. Later I picked up Golf and also enjoy running and biking.  With my engineering degree and an MBA, I did spend 15 years in various industries (automotive, automotive supplier, airport scanning and aircraft interiors equipment). Almost 7 of those years were in North America.

Late  summer 2008 I decided to ‘retire’ from big corporate and to launch my own business around sports. Chris and I meet at the end of October and quickly realized that this will be a great match. Eclipse Kites in Europe opened middle of December and is operational since early  2009.  Our sound marketing concept, fair pricing as well as an innovative service concept combined with our great new 2009 products are a valuable option for customers in Europe and beyond.The idea and vision behind Global Sport Partner is simple:
